Book Talk

Grab a cup of tea or a beverage of choice and let’s talk books!  I love to read, it is an escape for me along with my preferred way to gain knowledge.  Today I’m going so share one of my guilty pleasures, inspirational romance.  I just love being able to get away for a few minutes in the midst of my busy day.  

So let me introduce you to UNDERCOVER MOUNTAIN PURSUIT by Sharon Dunn.  The book starts out with Willow being on assignment.  She is a high-risk photographer and while she is on assignment she witnesses a murder.  More startling than the murder is that her old boyfriend is on the scene as well.  Willow displays incredible bravery as she had her pilot land the helicopter she is in to give aid to the victim of the shooting.  

What she doesn’t know is that Quentin is undercover trying to take down an international smuggling ring.  He and Willow have to team up to get off the mountain alive.  

The question is will they catch the bad guy before it’s too late? And will they be able to get past the grief of Willow’s brother’s death in an accident where they were all present?  

This story has a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Amazon. I’d give it a 3 out of 5, simply because there is nothing really special about it.  If you’re looking for an easy read to get caught up in for a while and enjoy formulaic romances, this one’s for you.
