Book Talk #2

I have to confess, I love historical fiction! Especially the Tudor/16th century period. The outfits and customs are so over the top. And the intrigue…. well, I just can’t put them down. How about you? What is your guilty pleasure?

The book THE BOLEYN INHERITANCE by Phillippa Gregory is just what I needed to cozy up with on the recent rainy days we’ve been having. I mean, dinner can wait, right?

In this book, King Henry the VIII has decided to take a new wife. This book follows three women whose lives are forever changed because of a kings whims. There is a lot of tension in this novel as these three women try to balance on the edge of the Tudor court.

I would highly recommend this book!
